Schneider Electric has revealed a new industrial Copilot developed in collaboration with Microsoft. This aligns with its mutual goal of integrating Azure AI Foundry with Schneider's industrial automation solutions to meet the increasing need for efficiency amidst workforce shortages in manufacturing sectors.

Positioned within Schneider's latest EcoStruxure Automation Expert Platform, this AI assistant aims to tackle repetitive industrial tasks, enhancing application development. The company highlights that this functionality will assist engineers and operators in accelerating the online integration of systems, optimising them for sustained operational productivity.

The integration of hardware and software enables the Copilot to access and act upon real-time operational data.
