Appointed by Connecticut Governor, Ned Lamont, in February 2022, Paul has spent the last two years coordinating efforts from the state and private sector to expand manufacturing in Connecticut.

He’s also been leading the state’s Economic Development efforts for the Offshore Wind Industry since 2022. 

Paul’s appointment is rooted in his extensive industry experience, which includes his role as General Manager at Carey Manufacturing in Cromwell, CT.

Carey Manufacturing is known for their reshoring efforts, bringing jobs back from China to Connecticut.

Prior to Carey, Paul has owned two businesses and served at senior level positions at publicly traded and privately owned businesses. 

A renowned manufacturing expert, Paul will be speaking about his eye-opening experiences as Chief Manufacturing Officer, sharing insights on the challenges facing the global manufacturing industry and laying out his perspective on the strategies and tools to confront them. 

Overseeing manufacturing development across an entire state has given him a unique and rich perspective of the industry as a whole, which he’ll be delving into at our unmissable event.

In 2025, Manufacturing & Mobility LIVE goes to Chicago, USA, for our first in-person event.

Manufacturing & Mobility LIVE will host its first in-person event that will be colocated with Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE and Manufacturing & Mobility LIVE at Convene – 333 North Green, Chicago, IL, 60607 on 4 and 5 June 2025.

Having cultivated senior executive audiences globally, Manufacturing & Mobility LIVE’s new in-person event will offer its unique blend of thought leadership, executive keynotes, fireside chats, panels and interactive workshops.

This will all be presented to an audience of more than 2,000 sustainability, procurement, supply chain, finance and operations leaders across two days in Chicago.
