Syspro and Nuvei formed a partnership focussed on embedding integrated payments directly into Syspro’s ERP platform for manufacturers and distributors

Manufacturing software company Syspro has partnered with Nuvei, a financial technology company, to embed integrated payments directly into Syspro’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform.

The integration extends Syspro’s PayThem Payment Gateway, connecting sales orders and accounts receivable to Nuvei’s global payment infrastructure.

“Payments are a critical part of that, but they’ve often been disconnected from the ERP. This partnership brings them back into the core system, helping customers collect funds faster, reduce manual effort, and operate with greater control.”

In a press release, Nuvei says that the integration allows customers to process payments in real time, automatically update accounts receivable, reserve funds at order creation and that its system accepts payments across 150 currencies and more than 200 markets.

McKinsey says as software grows increasingly critical to virtually every business, increasing numbers of industrial companies are investing in it to make their products smarter and to enable new revenue and innovation sources.

The consulting firm adds that companies that get it right can see their enterprise value grow as much as 1.5 times.

What is Syspro’s ERP for manufacturers?

Hosted on Microsoft Azure, Syspro’s purpose-built digital ERP solution connects inventory, logistics and financial management in one platform.

Syspro describes its approach as cloud first with an AI-enabled foundation.

The company says the benefits of the software include minimising equipment downtime, ensuring complete lot traceability and optimising supply chain performance, while supporting OEM relationships and cost accuracy.

Nuvei’s payment infrastructure

Nuvei says that the integration addresses challenges for manufacturers using ERP platforms, where payments have historically sat outside core operation systems, which can cause issues like delays in fund collection and fragmented data.

It says when a sales order is created in Syspro, payment processing, accounts receivable updates and cash flow reporting all happen within the same environment, eliminating the need to move between systems or manually reconcile payment data after the fact.

Phil Fayer, Nuvei’s Chair & CEO, says: “For manufacturers and distributors, payments need to operate as part of the business, not as a disconnected process.

“By partnering with Syspro, we’re bringing our global payments infrastructure directly into the ERP systems these businesses rely on every day. That means they can operate across markets with the local performance, visibility and control they need to scale.”
