PUMA has announced the continuation and growth of its collaboration with AutoStore and Bastion Solutions, with plans to implement the AutoStore system at its new distribution centre in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bob Philion, President PUMA North America, along with AutoStore and Bastian Solutions, celebrated the grand opening of the new facility with Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs.

“PUMA’s new facility showcases the integral role Arizona plays in our country’s growing and thriving economy,” says Governor Katie Hobbs.

“We are grateful that PUMA, one of the world’s most recognisable brands, has chosen Arizona, furthering our reputation as a premier logistics hub supporting global companies.”

The company aims to increase its daily order fulfilment at this facility from 100,000 to 200,000, an ambition which can only be achieved through enhancing the speed, efficiency and accuracy of its manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Retail ecommerce sales are estimated to exceed US$8tr by 2027, and for manufacturers in this space to keep up they need a accurate and optimised order fulfilment process.

Helping PUMA achieve this is AutoStore, with its pioneering cube-based modular storage system.
