Axiado & Pegatron Partner to Boost Server Security
Axiado Corporation, known for its AI-driven hardware security solutions, has formed an alliance with Pegatron Corporation, a leader in electronics manufacturing, to enhance security for high-performance servers.
The collaboration, showcased at the 2024 OCP Global Summit in San Jose, highlights their combined expertise in creating advanced platform security and AI-driven infrastructure.
Together, they are reimagining manufacturing to produce servers with robust, embedded security designed for cloud data centres, telecom networks and AI-driven environments.
Manufacturing innovation in high-performance server security
The partnership integrates Axiado's Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU) with Pegatron's Rack-scale AI Server RA4401-72N1, built on the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 system.
The high-performance servers, designed for extensive large language model (LLM) training and inference, enable Pegatron to meet the demands of data centres and cloud providers while complying with modern data centre specifications (DC-MHS, DC-SCM and OCP 3.0 NIC).
The collaboration supports AI-driven workloads and offers secure, scalable solutions for evolving data infrastructure needs.
"Partnering with Axiado allows Pegatron to deliver hardware-anchored, AI-driven security solutions tailored for high-performance AI and computing environments.
Together, we are setting a new standard for secure, scalable computing that meets the evolving needs of data centres and telecom networks."
Advanced platform security
Axiado's TCU introduces real-time, AI-enhanced threat detection, providing security layers like the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), Root of Trust (RoT) and Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
The features enhance platform security by identifying and countering threats before they compromise operations. The TCU's hardware-anchored security is integral to Pegatron's servers, protecting critical infrastructure while maintaining high efficiency.
Gopi Sirineni, President and CEO of Axiado, stated: "Integrating Axiado's AI-driven TCU with Pegatron's high-performance servers elevates platform security, making them ideal for modern data centres and network environments.
"By embedding key security components like BMC, RoT and TPM into Pegatron's servers, we provide a comprehensive solution ensuring critical infrastructure is secured while optimising performance."
Key highlights of the partnership include:
Integrating Axiado's TCU in Pegatron's servers enables real-time threat detection and comprehensive security across AI and telecom networks.
The servers, built on the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 architecture, provide flexibility and robustness for modern, data-intensive applications, ensuring they can handle emerging security challenges while maintaining optimal performance.
Those attending the OCP Global Summit can see Axiado's TCU in action within Pegatron's Rack-scale AI Server RA4401-72N1. The demonstrations show how Pegatron's platforms and Axiado's security technology create secure, high-performance environments for data-intensive industries.
The showcase provides insight into how these solutions are a robust defence against cyber threats in data centres and telecom applications.
Customisable, future-proof server architecture
As a versatile and scalable platform, Pegatron's server line supports 19-inch and 21-inch rack configurations, with options for liquid or air cooling. The future-proof design aligns with Pegatron's goal of meeting the dynamic demands of cloud and enterprise-grade data centres.
With Axiado's security technology embedded, these servers provide a secure, energy-efficient infrastructure for AI-driven applications and next-generation cloud services.
Established in 2008, Pegatron brings extensive expertise in server design and manufacturing, supporting cloud service providers' data centres worldwide. With Axiado's AI-driven cybersecurity and Pegatron's manufacturing proficiency, the companies aim to meet industry demands for high-efficiency, secure servers to drive data centre capabilities forward.
The partnership positions both companies as leaders in secure AI infrastructure, advancing server technology to address the needs of increasingly complex computing environments.
