Jaguar Land Rover continues to deploy Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to support the end-to-end development of all its modern luxury vehicles

For five years, Dassault Systèmes and luxury vehicle manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have enjoyed a fruitful partnership, with the latter taking advantage of the former's innovative technologies.

Now, in a move that looks set to drive further innovation, sustainability and efficiency through digital solutions, the pair have extended their strategic partnership.

JLR continues to deploy Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform globally to support the end-to-end development of all its modern luxury vehicles.

More than 18,000 users across all JLR business areas and suppliers will make use of virtual twins to increase efficiency, reduce waste, improve production management and save time and costs.

Dassault Systèmes and JLR have extended their partnership

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform gives JLR the opportunity to utilise a comprehensive suite of mobility industry and transportation solution experiences, both in the cloud and on site.

Its teams in ideation, requirements, model-based systems engineering, computer-aided design and manufacturing – as well as its value chain – will be connected in one collaborative virtual environment, leveraging knowledge and know-how. This creates value, enabling JLR’s employees to focus on high-quality tasks as well as empowering them to progress in their technical and digital skills.

Dassault Systèmes assists JLR's digital transformation

JLR's decision to deploy the 3DEXPERIENCE platform at such scale highlights the strength of its long-time partnership with Dassault Systèmes.

As digital transformation grows more and more imperative to the overall efficiency, productivity and competitiveness of manufacturers, platforms that enable increased customisability and intelligent design will undoubtedly grow in popularity.

“Our software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution provides JLR teams with increased agility and the ability to access the latest technology on demand.

"After five years of partnership, we're opening a new era of collaboration beyond engineering and manufacturing through a trusted partnership, where teams from JLR and Dassault Systèmes work closely in short iterations to address JLR and its ecosystem's challenges."
