Rajesh Kumar K V, Chief Technological Scientist at the AI Research Centre

Rajesh Kumar K V, Chief Technological Scientist at the AI Research Centre

Dr. Rajesh Kumar K V is the Chief Technological Scientist at the AI Research Centre and Associate Professor in the Business Analytics department at the School of Business at Woxsen University.

His research expertise consists of Business Analytics, Machine and Deep Learning and Human-Computer Interface-based signal Data Analytics for Bio-Medical Applications.

Rajesh manages an interdisciplinary engineering team on many research projects and is the Chair Professor of France Belanger of Information Systems.  

He also focuses on AI projects as the Advertflair Chair Professor in Marketing and Advertising and is the Co-Chairperson of the Centre of Excellence in Sports Analytics and Management at Woxsen University. 

Rajesh holds an M. Tech in Embedded Sytems and a Ph.D. in Applied Artificial Intelligence with a focus on biomechanical engineering.

At Manufacturing & Mobility LIVE,  Rajesh will be delivering an engaging keynote presentation that will explore how the Mobility industry can be transformed with AI and IoT.

Sean Wu, Former SVP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at 3M

Sean Wu, Former SVP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at 3M

Sean Wu is the Former SVP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain for the Asia Pacific region at 3M, a multinational conglomerate company. 

During this role, Sean was responsible for supervising and improving operations across the area. 

Throughout his career, he has developed an extensive background in supply chain management and global manufacturing positions in some organisations and has helped catalyse its success through many markets and industries. 

Before joining 3M, Sean was the Global VP of Supply Chain at Eaton Corporation. 

At Manufacturing & Mobility LIVE, Sean will feature on our ‘Sustainable Manufacturing Forum’ alongside Rodney Duran, Area Vice President and Manufacturing Practice Head at L&T Technology Services.

This panel discussion will explore the key strategies to reduce manufacturing’s ecological footprint, how to power operations with renewable energy, the innovative solutions for recycling waste and how we can manage the challenge of reducing carbon emissions.

With over 30 years of professional experience, Beatriz Gutierrez is the President and CEO of CONNSTEP, the leading consultancy firm in Connecticut that strives to support the ambitions of Connecticut’s small and medium-sized manufacturers. 

Since obtaining these roles in 2020, Beatriz has led every operational aspect of the company, including the creation, implementation and advancement of CONNSTEP’s strategic plan and ambitions. 

She has acquired a diverse span of expertise in lean methodologies, product marketing and business management.

By championing operational excellence, business development and technology adoption through digital transformation efforts like Industry 4.0, Beatriz aims to enhance Connecticut’s manufacturing community’s competitiveness and innovativeness. 

Beatriz sits on many local boards of directors and was honoured as a Woman of Distinction by the American Manufacturing Hall of Fame for her influential role in transforming Connecticut’s manufacturing industry. 

She gained an MBA from the University of Chicago-Booth School of Business and a degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University. Beatriz also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and National Development Council Economic Development Finance Professional.

Beatriz empowers many young girls and women to pursue manufacturing careers and is a passionate advocate for closing the gender gap.

Rodney Duran is the Area Vice President for Manufacturing Engineering at L&T Technology Services. 

Over the course of his career, Rodney has developed an abundance of experience in high-volume complex manufacturing and has held several leadership positions in procurement, operations, supply chain management, operations, logistics management, logistics management, manufacturing and quality. 

He has also provided strategic planning, direction and support to many operations across the US, Europe, Asia and Central America. Globally, Rodney has been at the forefront of many technical teams that support every phase of new product development through end of life requirements that validate product quality and compliance to maintain patient safety. 

Through his work, Rodney strives to be a visionary leader who supports diversity and inclusion, leadership development and operational health. 

At Manufacturing & Mobility LIVE, Rodney will feature on the ‘Sustainable Manufacturing Forum’ with Sean Wu, Former SVP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at 3M. 

During this panel discussion, the pair of executives will explore the cutting edge of sustainable manufacturing.
