Harnessing Nvidia NVLink for manufacturing

Nvidia and Intel are leveraging Nvidia NVLink technology, which will act as a conduit to interlink their architectures effectively.

Intel is tasked with designing and manufacturing bespoke x86 CPUs to serve Nvidia’s AI infrastructure platforms. These CPUs are marketed by Nvidia to enhance their offerings in the AI domain.

In personal computing, the focus shifts to system-on-chips (SOCs) that merge Intel’s x86 processors with Nvidia's RTX GPU chiplets.

This integration seeks to cater to diverse PC applications where both CPU and GPU synergies are requisite for peak performance.

Highlighting its dedication, Nvidia is investing US$5bn in Intel’s common stock at a share price of US$23.28, conditional on regulatory clearance, marking a commitment extending into the long term.
