February 2023: The threats of outdated technology in manufacturing and the rise of ESG in 2023
AspenTech’s Senior Director, Ron Beck, told us all about how the company is attracting young professionals into the manufacturing sector and how AspenTech is increasing its sustainability credentials. John Shier, Senior Security Advisor at Sophos, shared his knowledge of ransomware and the results of Sophos’ ‘State of Ransomware in Manufacturing’ report. Rashpal Mundi, Senior Partner Manager for iBASE-t EMEA, discussed how the manufacturing sector is changing and the threats of using outdated technology. Lastly, Ben Henderson, Head of Product Solution Consulting at EMEA Intelex Technologies, explored the company’s ESG efforts.

April 2023: Smart technology and digital twins in the manufacturing sector
In April’s magazine, Colin Lloyd from Element Six discussed synthetic diamonds and tungsten carbide advanced material manufacturing, while Augury CEO Saar Yoskovtiz explored how AI and smart technology help manufacturers save time, effort and emissions. We caught up with Indranil Sircar, Chief Technology Officer for manufacturing and mobility at Microsoft, who tells us more about the company’s core platform capabilities.

June 2023: Innovations in manufacturing and supply chains
China Performance Group’s Coral Li & Aurora Zhai discussed digital twins, ‘Factories of the Future’ and successful supply chains with Manufacturing Digital. Ralf Schedel leads market development in Giesecke+Devrient’s automotive business and he told us about the new expectations for car manufacturers. Laura Capper, Head of Manufacturing & Construction at NatWest, delved into how she helps manufacturers reduce energy costs and become more sustainable, while QAD Redzone’s Lance Olmstead returned to civilian life after years of service and has since landed in manufacturing, a sector he wants more veterans to join.

August 2023: DFx trends, digital twins & cybersecurity genius
Raghavendra. K.A., Global Head of Engineering, IOT & Blockchain practice at Infosys, explored the role of digital twins in modern manufacturing and how this can help to reach net-zero. Meanwhile Sanjeev Katiyar, Senior Engineering Manager at TT Electronics, discussed DFx trends and strategies and what they mean for the manufacturing sector. Bindiya Vakil, Founder of Resilinc, reviewed the impact of COVID-19 on the supply chain and how global shortages continue to impact manufacturing. Vishal Gauri from data-centric security company Seclore broke down cybersecurity tools and the CHIPS Act, while we celebrated the Top 10 smart manufacturing companies.

October 2023: Exploring metaverse in manufacturing, the 3D internet revolution and how IoT devices are shaping sustainability
In this issue of Manufacturing Digital, we heard from Oana Jinga, CCO of Dexory, on how she is leading women in technology with mentorship programmes, Ludwig von Reiche, Managing Director of NVIDIA’s German companies, about manufacturing businesses using the metaverse and transforming the 3D internet. Elsewhere, Senior Additive Minds Consultant at EOS Dave Krzeminski shared how EOS' commitment to sustainability through 3D Printing is building a greener future, while Andre Marino from Schneider Electric shares how IoT devices are impacting commercial real estate and helping buildings become more sustainable.

In the final issue of 2023, we heard from PPG’s Truman Wilt, who discussed tyre manufacturing and ESG. ABB India's sustainable manufacturing journey covers energy efficiency and water conservation. Ganesh Kothawade told us about how he plans to reduce waste and promote recycling. Meanwhile, Erez Ben-Zvi, Vice President Medical at Stratasys, discussed the future of 3D printing and how medical professionals are using this technology in various sectors. AVEVA’s Chief Product Officer, Rob McGreevy, discussed why manufacturers are turning to the cloud to build a sustainable future. Finally, Parm Sandhu from NTT explained how private 5G will power the future of manufacturing.
