Driving sustainable fashion supply chains with TrusTrace

New Look has partnered with TrusTrace to reduce its carbon footprint & track emissions. TrusTrace CEO Shameek Ghosh tells us about supply chain visibility

SaaS company TrusTrace has partnered with New Look to help the fashion retailer gain visibility across its supply chain, in order to identify supply chain risks and track emissions.

The TrusTrace platform to integrate with manufacturers for insight into New Look’s supply chain

Using its open architecture, the TrusTrace platform will integrate with retailer, manufacturer and supplier systems, in order to gain clearer insight into New Look’s supply chain.

New Look has already made progress through its ‘Kind to Our Core’ sustainability programme – as evidenced in its 2023 Sustainability Report.

“We’re thrilled to partner with TrusTrace to gain deeper visibility through to our Tier 4 suppliers, helping us to further mitigate any supply chain risks,” said Sue Fairley, Head of Sustainability at New Look.

TrusTrace is looking forward to helping New Look strengthen its data foundation to support its sustainability goals. Shameek Ghosh, Cofounder and CEO of TrusTrace, was thrilled to partner with the retailer.

“Further bolstering their dedication to environmental responsibility, New Look has implemented a sustainability programme, ‘Kind to Our Core’, which aims to reduce its carbon footprint by encouraging suppliers to track emissions, among other goals,” said Ghosh. “New Look understands that to truly enable the right decision-making and sustainable transformation in their supply chain network, they need to gather granular, validated data on how, where and under which conditions their products have been made, and that’s why they partnered with TrusTrace.

“TrusTrace is helping New Look collect data throughout their supply chain network, from Tier 1 through to Tier 4, enabling New Look to access granular, validated data on a product-level. Having all the data in one central location makes it easy to get an overview of the supply chain network as a whole, as well as deep dive into particular areas of risk or concern.

“Leveraging TrusTrace, New Look can further strengthen their data foundation to drive their sustainability goals across their supply chain network, support decarbonisation efforts and further manage and mitigate supply chain risk, to name a few efforts that support their ESG goals.”
