King Salman Energy Park and Schneider Electric are Driving Growth and Sustainability in Saudi Arabia's Energy Landscape With new Manufacturing Site

Industrial ecosystem leader King Salman Energy Park has signed an agreement with Schneider Electric, to build a new base which will manufacture key systems including Distributed Control Systems, Emergency Shutdown Systems and Compressor Control Systems.

King Salman Energy Park, also known as SPARK, is an industrial ecosystem which has moved sustainability to the front of its operations. SPARK is helping to advance Saudi Arabia’s role in the global energy transition. 

Schneider Electric wants to empower its customers to make the most of energy and resources, to advance sustainability. The company recently featured in our Top 10: Industrial Automation Software Companies, as its industrial automation makes use of automation control systems, such as computer systems and industrial equipment. 

The agreement will utilise Schneider Electric’s industry expertise and show SPARK’s ambition to advance its industrial control and safety mechanism offerings are not just talk.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wants to become a global leader in sustainable technology-driven exports and this decision is a step forward in reinforcing its place as a leader in advanced technology manufacturing. 

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
