Brendan McCarthy, Head of Retirement Investing at Nuveen
Brendan McCarthy is the Head of Retirement Investing at Nuveen.
Since joining the organisation in 2015, he has been in charge of managing the strategy and distribution of Nuveen’s investment and TIAA lifetime income solutions in various marketplaces, as well as looking after the organisation’s DCIO efforts across the US.
Over the course of his career, Brendan has gained over two decades of experience of retirement leadership in the financial services industry. In addition to this, he also speaks regularly at industry conferences and has been quotes in many publications, like the Investment News, Plan Sponsor Magazine and Financial Times.
Previously, Brendan has held roles at F-Squared Retirement Solutions, as their Chief Operating Officer and Putnam Investments, as their Senior Vice President.
During his time at Putnam Investments, Brendan held several leaderships roles, such as DCIO relationship management, institutional trust services and 401 (k) product development.
Brendan studied at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College for his MBA in addition to graduating from St Joseph’s College with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Brian Dunn, Global VP of Engineering & Maintenance and Head of Energy and Sustainability at Americold
Brian Dunn is the Global Vice President of Engineering & Maintenance and Head of Energy and Sustainability at Americold (NYSE: COLD).
During this role, he manages the leadership and development of Americold’s capital expense planning and execution and Maintenance Excellence and Energy Excellence Operating Systems.
Brian also guides the organisation's Global Sustainability strategies as Head of COLD’s Energy and Sustainability.
For 25 years Brian has worked at chief companies in the food and beverage industry, leading several areas, such as sustainability, engineering, operational excellence and asset reliability.
Brian currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of Tennessee Reliability & Maintainability Centre and the Nareit’s Real Estate Sustainability Council. In addition to this, he is also the COLD Ambassador to Energy Impact Partners and is a member of the Global Cold Chain Alliance’s Sustainability Task Force.
Brian received a bachelor’s from Middle Tennessee State and an MBA from Colorado State University.
