The Autins Group, which manufactures thermal and acoustic materials for the automotive sector, has won a prestigious prize at this year’s EEF Future Manufacturing Awards.

 

The company won Silver for the Developing People Award in the Midlands region, which honours manufacturers that do the most to build skills, harness talent, and develop employees.

Autins Group specifically stood out for its continuous engagement with local schools, helping students develop an understanding of career options and encouraging them to become part of the industry.

Paul Walker, MD of Automotive Insulations Ltd, said: “This achievement is testament to our hard working and dedicated team, and we are delighted to have been recognised in this way. It puts us on the map as a modern and innovative company and goes some way to demonstrating the valuable contribution made by local manufacturers, like ourselves, to our region.
