AI: Transforming the in-car experience

Stellantis and Mistral AI are collaborating to develop an intelligent in-car assistant that enables drivers to communicate with their vehicles using natural language.

This AI assistant acts as a real-time, voice-enabled user manual, allowing drivers to ask about vehicle features, troubleshooting issues or warning indicators and receive instant, conversational guidance.

Designed for continuous updates, the assistant will be adaptable across Stellantis’ diverse range of brands and models, delivering a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Implementing AI into key business functions

Beyond the in-car assistant, Stellantis and Mistral AI are advancing AI-powered solutions to enhance various business operations:

  • Bill of Materials (BOM) data intelligence

Stellantis is deploying an AI-driven tool to simplify the analysis of complex component databases.

A chatbot powered by Mistral AI interacts with product data, helping engineers identify, compare and select parts more efficiently, leading to cost savings and improved decision-making.

  • Vehicle feedback data analysis

AI automation processes feedback from development fleets and customer surveys, rapidly detecting patterns and recommending corrective actions.

This technology improves product quality and enhances customer satisfaction.
