TAFE is not new to awards. It was the first Indian tractor manufacturer to win Frost & Sullivan Global Manufacturing Leadership Award 2018, after all.

This award is given to manufacturers who are driving profound progress and development across the sector, with TAFE taking an ingenious approach to designing tractors capable of traversing various agricultural environments.

This approach will grow even more important as farmers have to face the environmental and ecological shifts of climate change.

Weather conditions, soil density and crop numbers have heightened unpredictability moving forward and manufacturers must help farmers meet and prepare for this difficult reality.

TAFE is doing so, expanding its operations to:

  • Six tractor plants
  • One engine plant
  • Two gears and transmission components plants
  • Two engineering plastics units
  • Facilities for hydraulic pumps and cylinders
  • A batteries plant

The TOTY (Tractor of the year) awards

Tractor of the Year is an esteemed international award, committed to recognising agricultural innovation and showcasing the best tractors in the European market.

The award was established in 1998 by Italian magazine Trattori and is bestowed by a group of 25 independent journalists with specialised tractor knowledge.

The Tractor of the Year award drives continuous manufacturing advancement and generates healthy competition, inspiring agricultural based OEM's to deliver greater performance, efficiency, safety and sustainability.

The TOTY 2025 winners will be announced during the opening day of EIMA International on November 6, 2024.

Attendees will get to see the technological features of the finalist tractors in the outdoor area, through two daily parades led by an expert speaker.

“I’m extremely satisfied with the high level of tractors competing for the TOTY Awards 2025," TOTY chair, Fabio Zammaretti says.

"Every year tractor manufacturers surpass themselves, offering increasingly innovative, efficient and sustainable machines.

"This year is no exception, with a range of tractors representing the best of modern agricultural technology. Our jury will have a challenging task selecting the winners, given the exceptional caliber of the participants.”
