Data from the organisation underlines Haier's consistent leadership in critical appliance categories, recognising the brand's success across global markets and its recent expansion.

Haier continues to dominate when it comes to refrigerators, home laundry appliances, freezers, and electric wine coolers/chillers, outselling its competitors.

In the first 9 months of 2024, Haier achieved revenue of RMB 202.97bn (US$28.42bn) representing a YoY growth of around 2.2%.

Haier’s exceptional sales performance across these sectors showcases its unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Haier's global expansion efforts

Driving Haier's success is its relentless focus on global expansion.

In 2024, the company significantly boosted its investments in its supply chain and brand development, to strengthen its position as a key global player.

The company invested in Thailand, constructing a new air conditioning industrial park, the largest air conditioning production facility for a Chinese brand in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

This major development underscores Haier's ongoing efforts to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities in key regions and better serve local and international markets.

In addition to its expansion in Southeast Asia, Haier is also investing in the Middle East and North Africa.

In Egypt the company has opened the first phase of its Egypt Eco Park and has already laid the foundation for the second phase.

Beyond organic growth, Haier has also pursued strategic acquisitions to enhance its global footprint.

In 2024, Haier Smart Home acquired Electrolux’s South African water heater brand Kwikot, as well as Carrier Commercial Refrigeration (CCR).

These acquisitions open new avenues for growth, providing Haier with an even stronger presence in key markets around the world.

With these strategic moves the company is well positioned for further growth in 2025.

A strategic approach to globalisation

Haier’s impressive track record is down to more than the strength of its products.

It's also due to the manufacturer's strategic approach to globalisation.

The company’s “Born Global, Growing Global” ethos has been instrumental in its success, enabling it to adapt to diverse market needs and deliver products tailored to consumers worldwide.

With 35 industrial parks, 163 manufacturing centres, and 126 marketing centres, Haier boasts a vast manufacturing network that spans over 200 countries and regions.

Each sale and product delivered reflects Haier’s commitment to quality, which is continuously refined through customer input.
