An event focusing on the manufacturing sector in India is taking place in Mumbai this week. Make in India week aims to spark a renewed sense of pride into the Indian manufacturing industry, while showcasing its many benefits to a global audience.

As part of the event, the Make in India Centre will feature an exhibition of the most innovative products and manufacturing processes that have been developed in India, as well as showcasing investment opportunities.

Speaking ahead of Make in India's opening day, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the desire to harness the country’s fast economic growth by turning it into a global manufacturing giant.
