Driving broader supply chain evolution, Rockwell Automation has partnered with Circulor, specialists in life cycle material tracking.

This joint venture targets the automotive, tyre, and battery sectors, aiming to exceed the expectations of new regulatory benchmarks like the Digital Product Passport by ensuring full traceability from the origin to the final product.

This initiative not only meets regulatory demands but champions sustainability and efficiency at each step of the supply chain.

Circulor's technology creates complete supply chain transparency, enabling manufacturers to better adhere to regulations, achieve green objectives and source responsibly.

Douglas Johnson-Poensgen, CEO, Circulor

“In an increasingly competitive and complex market where being sustainable and responsible is a strategic imperative, the combination of Rockwell’s state-of-the-art manufacturing expertise and Circulor’s leading traceability and digital product passports provide organisations with the answer to gaining a competitive advantage.” says Douglas Johnson-Poensgen, CEO of Circulor.

Collaborating beyond regulation

This partnership transcends regulatory fulfilment, creating new opportunities for business value.

By integrating Circulor's system with Rockwell's automation solutions, manufacturers can look forward to insights that cut costs, maximise efficiency and bolster competitiveness.

James Glasson, VP of Global Industry for Auto, Tire and Advanced Mobility, Rockwell

"Our focus on sustainability aligns with our customers’ strategic objectives," says James Glasson, Rockwell's Vice President of Global Industry for Auto, Tire and Advanced Mobility.

"This collaboration with Circulor allows us to offer a comprehensive traceability solution that not only addresses growing global regulations but also provides unprecedented visibility into supply chain carbon footprints.”

Rockwell plans to extend these innovative solutions to a broader range of sectors through its Kalypso business, offering consultation and support to adapt this pioneering technology across their supply chains.

This synergy between Rockwell and Circulor charts a course for a future where industrial transparency and responsibility are paramount, aligning operational success with environmental stewardship.

As regulatory compliance grows more and more critical for manufacturers, creating broader supply chain transparency will continue to be a major priority.
